1. Rigid waterproof sleeve, suitable for cast iron pipes, also for non-metallic pipes; however, the dimensions should be adjusted according to the wall thickness of the material used for the pipe.

2. After the wing ring and steel sleeve are processed, a coat of primer is applied to their outer walls (the primer includes camphor varnish or cold primer oil).

3. The material weights listed in the sleeve size table are for steel sleeves (with sleeve length L calculated at 200mm) and flanges. Both steel sleeves and flanges are made of A3 material and welded with T42 welding rods.

4. For the wall where the casing passes through, if it is not made of concrete, it should be replaced with a concrete wall. The concrete pouring area should be 200mm larger than the diameter of the Type II casing (D4), and the casing must be cast into the wall in one piece. The filling inside the casing should be compacted tightly.

5. The concrete wall thickness at the waterproof sleeve should not be less than 200mm; otherwise, the wall should be thickened on one or both sides. The diameter of the thickened section should be at least 200mm larger than the diameter of the flange (D4).
