Electrical collectors are one of the main components in the sliding wire system.
The collector is the primary device in the sliding contact system that picks up electrical energy on the collection side, transferring it directly to the electrical appliances through the sliding contact between the collector brush and the guide rail, thereby enabling mobile power supply for the system. The collector consists of two parts: the tension device of the mechanical structure and the collector brush that directly slides in contact with the guide rail.
The tension device of the mechanical structure determines the contact pressure between the commutator and the guide rail, as well as the stability of the mechanism. The commutator is the conductor that picks up electrical energy through the sliding contact with the guide rail. Its performance, conductivity quality, and material composition will directly impact the safety and operational quality of the entire system.
