1. Support Method
Setting up supports outside the pipeline, and plugging the leak with tools and gaskets, is known as the bracing method. This method is suitable for sealing larger pipelines, and is adopted due to the inability to secure the body.
2. Pressure Sintering Method
A method for sealing leaks in equipment and pipelines by fixing a screw directly or indirectly on the pipe, known as the top-pressing method. This technique is suitable for sealing leaks such as sand holes and small holes on medium and low-pressure pipelines.
3. Clamp method
The method of stopping leaks by securing a sealing washer in place with a clamp (or clip) is referred to as the clamp method.
4. Cap Sealing Method
A method of sealing leaks by tightening a gasket and cover plate in place on the inside or outside of a hole, known as the cover plate method. This technique is suitable for low-pressure, easily manipulated pipeline leak sealing.
