Chemical Cleaning Scale Removal Process
Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates through the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing reaches a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.

Breakthrough Cleaning
No two gray pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe should be used for open-loop cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a specific concentration of cleaning solution in the mixing tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the gray pipe. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases the cost.
Continuous operation cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while operating the ash conveying pipes, simultaneously introducing a specific quantity of ash conveying pipe cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-circuit cleaning method. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also enhancing its solubility in water, reducing the occurrence of airlock, and ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
Operation procedure: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the ash slurry pipe by considering the flow rate and acidity of the gray water. During cleaning, take samples at the sampling point at the front end of the ash pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the flow rate of acid addition. In the later stage of cleaning, take samples at the end of the ash pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be considered complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning machinery

3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.

(2) Categorically classified by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and tube walls, and a loosely textured sediment that is easy to detach.
