Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning

Recirculating cleaning utilizes two original parallel ash pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates within the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing decreases to a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.

Open road cleaning

No two gray pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe can be used for open circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning device, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the fluid tank, and injecting it into the gray pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires the addition of cleaning equipment during shutdown, resulting in higher costs.

Continuous cleaning without shutdown

The process involves continuously injecting a specific amount of acidic fluid while operating the ash conveying pipeline, simultaneously introducing a certain amount of ash conveying pipeline cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning descaler for open-loop cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic fluid and the ash scale within a certain concentration and flow rate, while also enhancing its solubility in water and reducing the generation of air blockage, ensuring the quality of ash pipeline cleaning.

The procedure is as follows: First, estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline before cleaning. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the ash-carrying pipe by considering the flow rate of the gray water and the acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the ash pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, test the pH value at the end of the ash pipe every 15 minutes. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning process can be deemed complete.


2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental-friendly, easy operation, and safety advantages.
High-pressure water technology boasts the following advantages.

(1) Excellent Cleaning Quality: During high-pressure water jet cleaning of pipes and the internal cavities of heat exchangers, all scaling and obstructions within the pipes are thoroughly removed, revealing the metal substrate. The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and supersonic speed, is fully capable of destroying hard scaling and obstructions without causing any damage to the metal.

Since the pressure of high-pressure water is less than the compressive strength grade of metal, high-pressure cleaning will not damage the base material being cleaned.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined crushing effects of water jet washing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, which is several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting and shot peening techniques, simple mechanical, and manual cleaning methods.

Pipe Scale

(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detachable.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, about 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel.
