The mold used for stretching is called a stretching mold. A stretching mold is a tool used to mass process materials (either metal or non-metal) into the required stampings. Depending on the combination, stretching molds can be categorized into single-stroke deep drawing molds, compound molds, and progressive deep drawing molds. When differentiated by stamping equipment, they can also be classified into single-action press stretching molds, double-action press stretching molds, and triple-action press stretching molds. The main distinguishing factor among these three is the difference in the design and positioning of the flanging device (elastic flanging and rigid flanging). Stretching molds can also be divided into initial deep drawing molds and subsequent process deep drawing molds, with the main difference lying in the structure and positioning of the flanging rings.
