Stretching molds, used for stretching processes, are tools that mass-process materials (both metallic and non-metallic) into required stamping parts. Depending on the type of assembly, stretch molds can be categorized into single-stroke deep drawing molds, compound molds, and progressive deep drawing molds. They can also be differentiated by the stamping press used: single-action press stretch molds, double-action press stretch molds, and triple-action press stretch molds, with the primary distinguishing factor being the type of flanging device (elastic or rigid flanging). Stretch molds can further be divided into initial deep drawing molds and subsequent process deep drawing molds, primarily differing in the structure and positioning of the flanging rings.
