JTW-LD-SF100/105 Cable Type Linear Temperature Fire Detector (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is a new type of disposable fire detection product that monitors environmental temperature changes. It utilizes a composite shielding process of metal wire braiding and aluminum-plastic tape, significantly enhancing the anti-interference capability of the temperature sensing cable. The detector consists mainly of a signal processing unit (microcomputer processor), temperature sensing cable, and connection components (termination box), and it has the function to respond to temperature alarms and output alarm signals.
Product Features
The temperature-sensing cable of the detector is a temperature-sensitive component. The JTW-LD-SF100/105 temperature-sensing cable is composed of two insulated wires, each extruded with a thermally sensitive material, twisted together and then covered with a metallic braid for shielding. The resistance to external interference of the shielded temperature cable is mainly reflected in: the integrity of signal transmission can be somewhat guaranteed by the shielding system. The shielded wiring system can prevent the transmitted data from being affected by external electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. The temperature-sensing cable can detect temperature changes at any point along its installed length. When the temperature rises to the response value, there is a sudden change in resistance between the cores of the temperature-sensing cable, generating a corresponding signal. This signal is then processed by a microcontroller using fuzzy mathematical methods to make a fire alarm judgment.

Thermally sensitive cable has a stable structure, with a metal shielding layer that features strong resistance to interference, as well as tensile and compression strength.

It is particularly suitable for early fire detection in power cables within cable tunnels, cable trays, and cable wells.
