2. Application Scope

Primarily applicable to AC single-phase, power frequency, rated voltage 27.5kV electrified railway wires, self-cooled transformer supply wires, as well as feeders from traction sub-stations, section stations, switch stations, and self-cooled transformer stations.

3. Features Usage

3.1 Cable rated voltage: 27.5kV.

3.2 The conductor of the cable is allowed a long-term maximum temperature of 90℃ during normal operation; during a short circuit (with a maximum duration not exceeding 5 seconds), the conductor of the cable is allowed a maximum temperature of 250℃.

3.3 The minimum bend radius for the cable during installation is 15 times the outer diameter of the cable. 3.4 Low-halogen, low-smoke flame-retardant cables should have a minimum smoke transmittance greater than or equal to 30%, the pH value of the released gases during combustion should be greater than or equal to 2.5, the conductivity should be less than or equal to 30µs/mm, and the halogen acid gas emission should be less than or equal to 100 mg/g.

3.5 Halogen-free Low-smoke Flame-retardant Cable, the minimum smoke opacity should be greater than or equal to 60%, the pH value of the gas released during combustion should be greater than or equal to 4.3, and the conductivity should be less than or equal to 10µs/mm.

3.6 The cable meets the flame-retardant characteristics requirements of GB/T18380.35C Class.

3.7 cables feature radial waterproofing properties.

3.8 Cables are not allowed to be laid in iron pipes, but are permitted in non-magnetic pipes.
