JTW-LD-SF100/85 Cable Type Linear Temperature Sensor Fire Detector (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is a new type of non-reusable fire protection patent product for monitoring environmental temperature changes. The product employs a metal wire braided and aluminum-plastic tape composite shielding process, significantly enhancing the interference resistance of the temperature sensing cable. It primarily consists of a signal processing unit (microcomputer processor), temperature sensing cable, and connection components (termination box). The detector features the functions of temperature alarm response and alarm signal output. The detector boasts excellent environmental adaptability and can reliably operate in close proximity or adjacent to the protected area in various fire detection sites with high humidity, contamination, and dust.
Product Features
The temperature-sensitive cable of the detector is an element sensitive to temperature. The SF100/85 temperature-sensitive cable is an internally shielded type. It is composed of two conductors, each extruded with a thermally sensitive insulation material, twisted together and wrapped with an aluminum-plastic tape, and then covered with a metallic braid shielding layer. The resistance of the shielded temperature-sensitive cable to external interference is mainly manifested in: the integrity of signal transmission can be guaranteed to some extent by the shielding system. The shielding wiring system can prevent the transmission data from being affected by external electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. The temperature-sensitive cable can detect temperature changes at any point within its installed length. When the temperature rises to the response value, there is a sudden change in resistance between the cores of the temperature-sensitive cables, and the conductors generate corresponding signals. The fire alarm judgment is then made through the calculation method of fuzzy mathematics by a single-chip microcontroller.
Main features are summarized as follows:
Thermally sensitive cable features stable structure, with a woven metal shielding layer providing strong anti-interference, tensile, and crush resistance.
Meets the requirements of Section 4.18 for small-sized high-temperature response performance tests in GB16280-2014 and the requirement of Section 12.3.3 in GB50116-2013 that the flame size of the response does not exceed 100mm.
3. Features open-circuit and short-circuit fault alarms.
4. Microcomputer processors and terminal box shells are made of flame-retardant materials, offering corrosion and aging resistance.
5. Equipped with manual fire alarm and fault simulation functions.
6. The detector boasts strong anti-interference capabilities, utilizing isolation detection and software anti-interference technology, suitable for use in environments with strong electromagnetic field interference.
Applicable scenarios
Widely used in warehouses, loading yards, oil and gas transmission pipelines, transformers, belt conveyors, locomotives, and switchboards for fire detection. Particularly suitable for early fire detection in power and control cables within cable tunnels, cable trays, and cable wells.
