The JTW-LCD-SF901B Cable-Type Linear Temperature-Sensing Fire Detector (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is a new type of reusable fire protection patent product that integrates differential temperature and fixed temperature monitoring of environmental temperature changes. It is mainly composed of a signal processing unit (microcomputer processor), a temperature-sensing cable, and connecting components (termination box). The detector features the function of separately outputting differential temperature and fixed temperature alarm signals.
Product Features
The temperature-sensitive cable of the detector is a sensitive temperature element, the JTW-LCD-SF901B temperature-sensitive cable can detect temperature changes at any point along its installed length, in addition to having a fixed temperature alarm, it also features differential temperature alarm, which can quickly emit a fire alarm signal when the rate of environmental temperature change is too high, greatly enhancing the detector's response speed to temperature and overcoming the drawback of delayed alarm in traditional single fixed temperature detectors, which is beneficial for the timely discovery of fires and preventing greater losses. The working principle is that when the temperature (heating rate) rises to the response value, there is a sudden change in resistance between the cores of the temperature-sensitive cable, and a corresponding signal is generated between the conductors, which is then processed by the microcontroller using fuzzy mathematics to make a fire alarm judgment.
Main features are briefly described as follows:
Thermally sensitive cable with stable structure, good anti-interference performance, and soft material for easy installation.
2. Comprehensive judgment of analog signal collection.
Complies with the requirements of Section 4.18 for small size high temperature response performance test in GB16280-2014.
4. The detector does not damage the thermally sensitive cable upon alarm within the safe temperature range, allowing for the cable to be reused.
5. Adjustable temperature settings at 70°C, 85°C, 105°C, with a temperature change rate of 10°C/min, 20°C/min, and 30°C/min.
6. Features open circuit, short circuit, and power failure alarms.
7. The microcomputer processor and terminal box shells are made of flame-retardant material, resistant to corrosion and aging.
8. Equipped with manual fire alarm and fault simulation functions.
9. The detector boasts strong anti-interference capabilities, utilizing isolation detection and software anti-interference technology, suitable for environments with strong electromagnetic field interference.
Applicable Scenarios
The detector boasts excellent environmental adaptability, enabling it to operate reliably at close or near-protection distances in fire detection settings prone to moisture, contamination, and dust. Therefore, it is widely used in warehouses, storage yards, oil and gas pipelines, transformers, conveyor belts, locomotives, and distribution panels. It is particularly suitable for early fire detection in power cables within cable tunnels, cable trays, and cable wells.
