Shimadzu's dedicated nitrogen generator for liquid chromatography is an advanced gas separation technology. It produces high-purity nitrogen by separating air using imported Korean membrane separation technology. After compression and filtration by a compressor, the air enters a high molecular membrane filter. Due to the varying solubility and diffusion coefficients of different gases in the membrane, the relative permeation rates of the gases differ. Under certain pressure conditions, the different permeation rates of oxygen and nitrogen, among other gases, are utilized to separate them. Compared to other nitrogen production equipment, it boasts simpler structure, smaller size, no switching valves, less maintenance, faster gas production (≤3 minutes), and easy scalability.
