The high-pressure homogenizer is powered by a reciprocating pump for power transmission and material conveyance, transporting the material to the working valve section. During the process of the material passing through the working valve, it undergoes intense shearing, impact, and cavitation under high pressure, resulting in ultra-fine micronization of the liquid substance or solid particles carried by the liquid.
Operating Principle
The high-pressure pump head components draw the material through a one-way valve into the pump chamber. Under the force of the plunger, the material between the pump chamber and the homogenizing valve seat builds up extreme pressure. During this process, there is a strong shearing, impact, and cavitation between the fluid molecules and the homogenizing valve. The fluid is confined by the slit, generating high-speed shearing forces, impact forces, and instantaneous cavitation, which breaks, disperses, and homogenizes particles and cell membranes within the sample.

High-pressure materials, as they pass through the homogenizing valve assembly, generate the following three homogenizing effects:
① Shearing action; the gap between the uniform valve seat and valve core is very small, shearing the material particles.
② Void effect, the material instantaneously loses pressure during high-speed extrusion, ultimately achieving the purpose of even distribution of the material.
③ Collision effect: High-speed extruded material impacts the collision ring at a very high speed, resulting in collision crushing.
