The JX-ZLN-INF high-volume infrared vacuum centrifugal concentrator is a scientific instrument designed for sample concentration or drying. The equipment provides vacuum conditions, electrical heating, and infrared lamp auxiliary heating to enhance concentration performance, while the centrifugal action prevents cross-contamination, ensuring sample safety. The high-volume infrared model, with an increased chamber capacity, utilizes infrared-assisted evaporation to accelerate sample concentration efficiency. This instrument is compatible with various types of rotors and can accommodate centrifuge tubes, sample bottles, conical flasks, ampoules, and hanging baskets.
Operating Principle:By vacuum-packing to lower the pressure inside the cavity, the boiling point of the solvent is reduced. As the pressure decreases, the boiling point of the solution follows suit, causing the solution to start boiling at a certain pressure level. Simultaneously, continuous centrifugation of the sample ensures the solution remains collected at the bottom of the centrifuge tube, preventing contamination and loss due to boiling. Solvent vapor, upon passing through a low-temperature cold trap, condenses and is captured, protecting the vacuum pump and extending its service life. Additionally, the sample remains in a low-temperature and vacuum environment, which can prevent inactivation and oxidation of heat-sensitive samples.
