1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted three simulation production tests on representative models of the DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20 series purifiers, in three different sizes. A substantial amount of data was collected, analyzed, and organized, revealing an average purification rate of over 95% for gases, and sulfuric mist levels ranging from 90% to 95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification towers use sodium hydroxide solution as the absorption and neutralizing liquid. The acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle inner cylinder of the purification tower by a fan to form a pressure chamber, then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressure intensifier chamber. The waste gas enters the absorption and neutralizing liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a second thorough contact between the gas and liquid. After dehydration by the dehydration fan, the gas is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general glass fiber reinforced plastic purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been taken:
(1) Eliminated the recirculating pump system of a typical purification tower.
(2) A new filter material, a round ring with a large specific surface area, high perforation rate, uniform holes, regular arrangement, and minimal channeling, has been adopted to replace the commonly used Baoer ring filter material in China.
3. The fiberglass tower body is of reliable quality and good performance.
Based on the working environments of various components of the purification tower, high alkali resistance and high structural strength resins were selected, with a weather-resistant and aging-resistant gel-coated resin used on the exterior. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing plates were employed on the tower's outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and segmented pieces was adopted according to the size of various models. Since the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for an extended period, it must withstand not only the pressure from the tower itself and the liquid pressure but also the wind pressure during operation (total pressure of the fan at 200_250H2O). Therefore, all glass fiber reinforced plastics must have excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining high tensile and compressive strengths. After thoroughly considering and eliminating the strength reduction coefficient under severe corrosion and the dispersion performance of the hand lay-up process, our company has designed the entire glass fiber component structure to meet the requirements of particularly harsh working conditions, ensuring ample reserve strength.
