1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted simulation production tests on three representative models of purification towers with different specifications: the DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20 series. A substantial amount of data was collected, analyzed, and organized, resulting in an average purification rate of over 95% for gases and sulfur mist levels between 90%-95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification tower uses sodium hydroxide solution as the absorption and neutralizing liquid. The acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle inner cylinder of the purification tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, which is then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by a pressure booster chamber. The waste gas enters the storage tank's absorption and neutralizing liquid through the bubble tubes, causing bubbling. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a thorough recontact between the gas and liquid. After undergoing desorption by the desorption fan, the gas is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general glass fiber reinforced plastic purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been taken:
(1) Eliminated the recirculating pump system of the typical purification tower.
(2) A new filter material, a round ring with a large specific surface area, high perforation rate, uniform holes, regular arrangement, and minimal groove retention, has been adopted to replace the commonly used Baoer ring filter material in China.
3. The fiberglass tower body is of reliable quality and excellent performance.
Based on the working environment of various components of the purification tower, we have selected resins with excellent alkaline resistance and high structural strength, with the outer surface treated with waterproof and anti-aging胶衣树脂. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing disks are used on the tower's outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube segments and sections is adopted according to the size of various models. As the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for an extended period, it must withstand not only the pressure from the tower body and solution pressure but also wind pressure during operation (total pressure of the fan at 200-250H2O). Therefore, all glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) components must have good corrosion resistance and maintain high tensile and compressive strength. After thorough consideration and elimination of the strength reduction coefficient under severe corrosion and the dispersion characteristics of hand-laid-up molding processes, our company has designed the entire GFRP components and ensured ample reserve strength for the specific tower structure and operating environment.
