1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted simulation production tests on three representative models of purification towers within the series—DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20, in three different specifications. A significant amount of data was collected, analyzed, and compiled, showing an average purification efficiency of over 95% for gases and 90%-95% for sulfuric acid mist.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification towers use sodium hydroxide solution as the absorbent neutralizing liquid. Acid mist waste gas is pressed into the middle inner cylinder of the purification tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, and then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressure intensifier chamber. The waste gas enters the absorbent neutralizing liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing the gas and liquid to come into close contact again. After the gas is dehydrated by the dehydrating fan, it is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general glass fiber reinforced plastic purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been taken:
(1) Eliminated the circulating pump system of a typical purification tower.
(2) A new filter material with a larger specific surface area, higher perforation rate, uniform holes, regular arrangement, and minimal channel retention, in the form of a circular ring, has been adopted to replace the commonly used Baole ring filter material in China.
3. The fiberglass tower body is of reliable quality and excellent performance.
Based on the working environment of each component of the purification tower, high alkali resistance and high structural strength resins are selected, with the exterior using waterproof and aging-resistant gel coat resins. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing disks are used on the tower's outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and segmented plates is adopted according to the body size of various models. As the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for an extended period, in addition to the pressure from the tower itself and the liquid pressure, it also needs to withstand wind pressure during operation (total pressure of the fan at 200-250H2O). Therefore, after fully considering and excluding the strength reduction coefficient under strong corrosion and the dispersion performance of the hand-laid-up molding process, our company has designed the entire glass fiber reinforced plastic components to maintain excellent corrosion resistance and high tensile and compressive strengths, especially under severely adverse working conditions, ensuring ample reserve strength.
