Fiberglass absorption towers, compared to general absorption towers at home and abroad, feature high purification efficiency, compact structure, attractive appearance, small land occupation, excellent corrosion and aging resistance, high strength, lightweight, easy transportation and installation, as well as easy maintenance and management. They are the new purification equipment for electroplating, acid pickling, and waste gas treatment in various industries such as chemical, mechanical, electronic, metallurgy, and instrument industries at home and abroad.

1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted three rounds of simulation production tests on representative models DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20 of the series, in three different specifications, to challenge the product's performance. A substantial amount of data was collected, which, after analysis and organization, revealed an average purification rate of the gas exceeding 95%, and sulfuric acid mist reaching 90%-95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification towers use sodium hydroxide solution as the absorption and neutralization liquid. The acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle inner cylinder of the purification tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, and then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressurized chamber. The waste gas enters the absorption and neutralization liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a thorough gas-liquid contact, followed by desiccation by the desiccant fan, and then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general fiberglass purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been adopted:
(1) Eliminated the recirculating pump system typically found in standard purification towers.
(2) Utilizes a new filter material with a large specific surface area, high porosity, uniformly distributed holes, regular arrangement, and minimal flow retention - a round ring design, replacing the commonly used Baole ring filter material in China.
3. The glass fiber tower body is reliable in quality and performs well.
Based on the working environment of various components within the purification tower, high alkali resistance and structural strength resins were selected, with a waterproof and aging-resistant胶衣树脂 used for the exterior. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing disks were employed on the tower's outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and segmented pieces was adopted according to the size of different models. As the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for an extended period, it must withstand not only the pressure from the tower itself and the liquid pressure but also the wind pressure during operation (full pressure of the fan at 200-250H2O). Therefore, all glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) components must exhibit excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining high tensile and compressive strengths. After careful consideration and elimination of the strength reduction coefficient under strong corrosion and the scattering performance factors of hand-laid-up molding processes, our company has developed the entire GFRP components with sufficient reserve strength, tailored to the structural characteristics and working environment of the tower, especially under severe working conditions.
