1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted three simulated production tests on representative models of the series, including the DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20 models in three different specifications, for challenging product performance. A substantial amount of data was collected, analyzed, and organized, resulting in an average gas purification rate of over 95%, with sulfuric acid mist reaching 90%-95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification towers use sodium hydroxide solution as the absorbent neutralizing liquid. Acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle section of the tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, which is then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressure chamber. The waste gas enters the absorbent neutralizing liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a thorough recontact between the gas and liquid. After dehydration by the dehydration fan, the gas is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general fiberglass purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been taken:
(1) Eliminated the recirculating pump system of the conventional purification tower.
(2) Utilizes a new filter material, a round patterned annular element with a higher specific surface area, higher porosity, uniform orifices, regular arrangement, and less channeling, replacing the commonly used鲍尔环filter material in China.
3. The fiberglass tower body is of reliable quality and excellent performance.
Based on the working environment of various components in the purification tower, we have selected resins with excellent alkali resistance and high structural strength, with the exterior coated in waterproof and aging-resistant胶衣树脂. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing disks are used on the tower's outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and segmented sheets is adopted according to the size of different models. Since the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for an extended period, it must withstand not only the pressure from the tower itself and the liquid pressure but also the wind pressure during operation (total pressure of the fan at 200-250H2O). Therefore, all glass fiber reinforced plastic components must have good corrosion resistance and maintain high tensile and compressive strength. After fully considering and eliminating the strength reduction coefficient under strong corrosion and the dispersion performance factors of the hand-laid-up molding process, our company has designed the entire glass fiber reinforced plastic components and ensured ample reserve strength, tailored to the specific structural characteristics and working environment of the tower.
