1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted simulation production tests on three representative models of purification towers, the DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20 series, in three different specifications. A substantial amount of data was collected, analyzed, and organized, resulting in an average purification rate of over 95% for gases, and sulfuric acid mist levels between 90% and 95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification towers use sodium hydroxide solution as the absorption and neutralization liquid. Acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle section inner cylinder of the purification tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, which is then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressure intensifier chamber. The waste gas enters the absorption and neutralization liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a thorough re-contact between the gas and liquid. After desiccation by the desiccant fan, the gas is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, improvements have been made to the structure of the general glass fiber reinforced plastic purification towers, including the following measures:
(1) Eliminated the circulating pump system of the general purification tower.
(2) Utilizes a new filter material, a circular patterned ring with a large specific surface area, high perforation rate, uniform holes, regular arrangement, and minimal channeling phenomenon, replacing the commonly used Baole ring filter material in domestic applications.
3. The fiberglass tower body is of reliable quality and excellent performance.
Based on the working environment of each component of the purification tower, high alkali resistance and high structural strength resins were selected, with a waterproof and aging-resistant gel-coated resin used on the surface. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing plates were applied to the outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and segmented sheets was adopted according to the size of various models. Since the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for a long time, in addition to the pressure from the tower body and the liquid pressure, it also needs to withstand wind pressure during operation (full pressure of the fan at 200-250H2O). Therefore, after fully considering and excluding the strength reduction coefficient under strong corrosion and the dispersion performance of the hand-laid-up molding process, our company has designed the entire glass fiber reinforced plastic components to maintain sufficient reserve strength, tailored to the specific structural and environmental characteristics of the tower under particularly harsh working conditions.
