1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted three simulated production tests on representative DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20 models of purification towers in the series, collecting a substantial amount of data. After analysis and organization, the average purification rate of the gas exceeded 95%, with sulfuric acid mist reaching 90%-95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification towers use sodium hydroxide solution as the absorption and neutralization liquid. The acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle section of the tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, and then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressure chamber. The waste gas enters the absorption and neutralization liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a thorough re-contact between the gas and liquid. After the gas is dehydrated by the dehydrating fan, it is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general glass fiber reinforced plastic purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been taken:
(1) Eliminated the circulating pump system of the general purification tower.
(2) A new filter material, a round patterned annulus with a larger specific surface area, higher porosity, uniformly distributed holes, regular arrangement, and minimal grooving, has been adopted to replace the commonly used Baur ring filter material in China.
3. The fiberglass tower body is of reliable quality and excellent performance.
Based on the working environments of the various components of the purification tower, high alkali resistance and high structural strength resins were selected. The outer surface is coated with a胶衣树脂 that excels in waterproofing and anti-aging properties. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing disks were used on the outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and segmented plates was adopted according to the sizes of various models. Since the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for extended periods, in addition to the pressure from the tower's own and the liquid pressure, it must also withstand wind pressure during operation (fan total pressure at 200_250H2O). This requires all glass fiber reinforced plastic components to have excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining high tensile and compressive strengths. Therefore, after thorough consideration and elimination of the strength reduction coefficient under severe corrosion and the dispersion performance of the hand-laid-up molding process, our company has tailored the entire glass fiber reinforced plastic components and ensured an ample reserve of strength for the specific structural and environmental characteristics of the tower.
