1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production phase, the company conducted simulation production tests on the representative DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20 series purification towers in three batches, collecting a substantial amount of data. After analysis and organization, the average gas purification rate exceeded 95%, with sulfuric acid mist reaching 90%-95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification tower uses sodium hydroxide solution as the absorbent and neutralizing liquid. Acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle inner cylinder of the purification tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, and then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressure intensifier chamber. The waste gas enters the absorbent and neutralizing liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a thorough recontact between the gas and liquid. After dehydration by the dehydration fan, the gas is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general glass fiber reinforced plastic purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been taken:
(1) Eliminated the recirculating pump system typically found in standard purification towers.
(2) A new filter material, a circular patterned annulus with a larger specific surface area, higher perforation rate, uniform holes, regular arrangement, and minimal channel retention, has been adopted to replace the commonly used Baole ring filter material in domestic applications.
3. The fiberglass tower body is reliable in quality and performs well.
Based on the working environment of various components in the purification tower, we have selected resins with excellent alkaline resistance and high structural strength, and used waterproof, aging-resistant gel coat resins for the exterior. To enhance the tower's strength, the outer shell is equipped with several longitudinal reinforcing plates, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and pieces is adopted according to the size of various models. As the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for an extended period, it is subject not only to the pressure of the tower itself and the liquid pressure but also to wind pressure during operation (fan total pressure at 200_250H2O). Therefore, all glass fiber reinforced plastic components must have good corrosion resistance and maintain high tensile and compressive strength. After thorough consideration and elimination of the strength reduction coefficient under severe corrosion and the dispersion characteristics of hand lay-up molding processes, our company has developed glass fiber components tailored to the tower's structural and environmental characteristics, ensuring sufficient strength reserves under particularly harsh working conditions.
