Glass fiber reinforced plastic absorption towers are superior to general absorption towers at home and abroad, featuring high purification efficiency, compact structure, attractive appearance, small land occupation, excellent corrosion and aging resistance, high strength, light weight, easy transportation and installation, and convenient maintenance. 1. Reliable purification efficiency
During the trial production process, the company conducted three simulation production tests on three representative models of purification towers in the series: DGS-5, DGS-7.5, and DGS-20, in various specifications. A substantial amount of data was collected, which, after analysis and organization, yielded an average purification rate of over 95% for gases, and sulfuric acid mist levels between 90%-95%.
2. Reasonable structural design
The DGS series acid mist purification towers use sodium hydroxide solution as the absorption and neutralization liquid. Acid mist waste gas is forced into the middle inner cylinder of the purification tower by a fan, forming a pressure chamber, and then evenly distributed to each bubble tube by the pressure chamber. The waste gas enters the absorption and neutralization liquid in the storage tank through the bubble tubes, causing bubbles to form. The bubbles pass through the filter material ring layer, allowing for a thorough recontact between the gas and liquid. After desiccation by the desiccation fan, the gas is then released into the atmosphere. Based on the above design principles, the structure of the general glass fiber reinforced plastic purification tower has been improved, and the following measures have been taken:
(1) Eliminated the circulating pump system of the general purification tower.
(2) A new filter material, a round ring with a large specific surface area, high perforation rate, uniform holes, regular arrangement, and minimal groove retention, has been adopted to replace the commonly used Baole ring filter material in China.
3. The fiberglass tower body is of reliable quality and excellent performance.
Based on the working environment of various components in the purification tower, we have selected resins with excellent alkali resistance and high structural strength, with a coating of waterproof and anti-aging胶衣树脂 on the outside. To enhance the tower's strength, several longitudinal reinforcing plates are used on the tower's outer shell, and a combined structure of cylindrical double-tube sections and segmented plates is adopted according to the size of different models. Since the purification tower operates in an acidic and alkaline corrosive gas environment for an extended period, in addition to the pressure from the tower's own structure and solution pressure, it also needs to withstand wind pressure during operation (total pressure of the fan at 200-250H2O). Therefore, all glass fiber reinforced plastic components must have good corrosion resistance and maintain high tensile and compressive strength. After thorough consideration and elimination of the strength reduction coefficient under strong corrosion and the dispersion performance factors of the hand lay-up process, our company has developed a glass fiber structure for the tower, taking into account the specific characteristics of the tower type and working environment, ensuring sufficient reserve strength under particularly harsh working conditions.
