Pressure Drop Calculation for Static Mixers Static mixers are used in pipelines, and the pressure drop they generate is relatively small. When the system pressure using a static mixer is high, the pressure drop caused by the static mixer can be ignored. Appendix: SN Type Distributor Product Features During the transportation of fluids, the mixture ratio is often affected due to unbalanced pressure among different fluid streams. To better accommodate the use of static mixers by our customers, our company has newly developed the SN-type distributor, which features the performance of a jet pressure booster pump. It ensures the required pressure at the outlet of the material while maintaining the substream flow rate. The SN-type distributor consists of nozzles, reception chambers, mixing chambers, and diffuser chambers. The mainstream passes through the nozzle, forming a low-pressure area at the conical inlet due to its high velocity, thereby drawing the substream into the reception chamber, accelerating it, and causing intense swirling in the mixing chamber. It is then ejected from the diffuser chamber at a certain speed, facilitating smooth transportation to the static mixer for mixing, thereby achieving optimal performance.
