I. Overview

The SG series tank-mounted jet mixer is a new, high-efficiency jet pump designed for mixing and inverting liquids, with its greatest advantage being:Reliable, straightforward, maintenance-free, and cost-effective.

The SG series of tank jet mixers have a wide application range. Essentially, as long as the liquid can be conveyed by a centrifugal pump, this mixer can be used. It is primarily utilized in containers, storage tanks, and neutralization ponds, such as oil blending and acid-base neutralization processes, making it an ideal mixing equipment.

Section 2: Structural Features and Mixing Principles:

When a blender cannot accomplish the mixing of materials in oversized tanks, the tank jet mixer overcomes this challenge. The liquid stream ejected from the nozzle of the tank jet mixer forms a low-pressure area at its conical inlet due to its high speed, thereby attracting and carrying a liquid flow from the tank, accelerating it, and creating a highly turbulent vortex within the mixer, resulting in a well-mixed liquid.

At the outlet of the jet-type mixer for cans, part of the mixing speed is converted to pressure, causing the mixed liquid ejected from the mixer to spread out in a conical shape and to stir the surrounding liquid, thereby achieving the objectives of mixing and neutralizing the liquid inside the can.

If the SG series drums are properly arranged with a jet mixer, a three-dimensional jet is formed within the drum, uniformly blending all contents without generating any rotational motion.

The SG series tank jet mixers should be installed as deeply as possible to ensure effective and thorough mixing, even when the liquid volume is low.

For liquids prone to foaming, raising the liquid level above the mixer by 1 to 2 meters can prevent foam formation.
