Description

A disc continuous dryer is an efficient heat conduction continuous drying equipment. Its unique structure and working principle determine its high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, small land occupation, simple configuration, easy operation and control, and good operating environment, making it widely applicable to drying operations in industries such as chemicals, pesticides, food, feed, and processed agricultural products. It has received high praise in practical applications across various industries. Currently, we produce three types: atmospheric pressure, sealed, and vacuum, in four specifications: 1200, 1500, 2200, and 3000, with three materials: A (carbon steel), B (the contact material parts are all stainless steel), and C (based on B, the steam pipeline, main shaft, and bracket are made of stainless steel, with the cylinder and top cover lined with stainless steel). This includes a series of products with drying areas ranging from 4 to 180 m², totaling hundreds of models. We also provide matching auxiliary equipment to meet the drying needs of various materials.

Wet material is continuously added to the upper layer of the dryer on a rotating arm equipped with a rake blade, which moves in a circular motion to continuously turn over the material. The material flows over the surface of the drying tray along an exponential spiral line, where it is moved from the inner edge of the small drying tray to the outer edge, falling into the outer edge of the larger drying tray below. The material then moves inward on the large tray and falls through the middle discharge opening into the next layer of smaller trays. The trays of different sizes are alternately arranged vertically, allowing the material to continuously pass through the entire dryer. The hollow drying trays are supplied with heating medium, which can be saturated steam, hot water, or thermal oil, entering at one end and exiting at the other. The dried material falls from the upper tray to the bottom of the shell and is then conveyed by the rake blades to the discharge point. Moisture evaporates from the material and is expelled through a moisture exhaust port located on the top cover. The moisture from the vacuum tray dryer is expelled through a vacuum pump port also on the top cover. The dried material discharged from the bottom can be directly packaged. By adding auxiliary equipment such as finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag dust collectors, dry material blending mechanisms, induced draft fans, etc., the drying capacity can be increased. It can easily recover solvents and perform pyrolysis and reaction operations.

(1) Easy to regulate, versatile in application
1. Achieve the desired drying effect by adjusting the material layer thickness, main shaft speed, number of rakes, and rake blade type and size.
2. Each drying tray can be individually heated or cooled using hot or cold media, providing precise and easy material temperature control.
3. The material dwell time is adjustable.
4. The material flow is single-directional with no mixing back, it is dry and even, of stable quality, and no further blending is required.
(2) Easy to operate, straightforward
1. The start-up and shutdown operation of the desiccant is extremely simple.
2. After stopping the material supply, the conveyor scraper blades can quickly empty the material from the drier.
3. Through special large-scale inspection doors, a very thorough cleaning and observation of the equipment interior can be conducted.
Low energy consumption
1. The material layers are thin, the main shaft speed is low, the power required for the material conveying system is small, and the electricity consumption is low.
2. Dries through heat conduction, with high thermal efficiency and low energy consumption.
(4) Favorable operational environment, recyclable solvents, dust emissions meet requirements.
1. Atmospheric Pressure Type: Due to the low air velocity inside the equipment and a humidity distribution that is higher at the top and lower at the bottom, dust particles are difficult to rise to the top of the equipment. Therefore, the exhaust gas emitted from the moisture exhaust outlet at the top contains almost no dust.
2. Sealed Type: Equipped with a solvent recovery unit, it allows for convenient recovery of organic solvents from moist gas. The solvent recovery unit is simple, with a high recovery rate. For flammable, explosive, toxic, and easily oxidizable materials, nitrogen can be used as the moist gas for closed-loop circulation, ensuring safe operation. Particularly suitable for drying flammable, explosive, and toxic materials.
3. Vacuum Type: A disk drier operated under vacuum, particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
(E) Easy installation, minimal land area required
1. The dehumidifier is factory-assembled and shipped as a complete unit, requiring only hoisting into place for easy installation and positioning.
2. Due to the dry disk layer arrangement and vertical installation, even with a large drying area, the floor space occupied is minimal.

Design Pressure: Generally 0.4 MPa, up to 1.6 MPa.
2. Operating Pressure: Generally ≤0.4 MPa, up to 1.6 MPa for high pressure.
3. Heating Medium: Steam, hot water, thermal oil. Use hot water for heating when the drying disc temperature is 100°C. For temperatures between 100°C and 150°C, use saturated steam or superheated steam at ≤0.4MPa. Between 150°C and 320°C, use thermal oil. Above 320°C, heating can be done using electricity, thermal oil, or molten salt.
Material Handling System
Spindle Speed: 1-10 rpm, electromagnetic or variable-frequency stepless speed control.
2. Rake Arms: Each drying tray is equipped with 2 to 8 rake arms fixed to the main shaft.
3. Rake Blades: Connected to the rake arm, they can float up and down with the pan surface to maintain contact, available in various styles.
4. Roller Crushing: For materials prone to caking and requiring crushing, the addition of roller crushing at appropriate locations can enhance the heat transfer and drying process.
(H) Housing
There are three types: atmospheric, sealed, and vacuum.
1. Atmospheric Pressure Type: Available in cylindrical or octagonal prism shapes, featuring either a whole or split structure. The main inlet and outlet pipes for the heating medium can be located either inside or outside the shell.
2. Sealed Type: Cylinder-shaped housing, capable of withstanding an internal pressure of up to 5Kpa. The main inlet and outlet pipes for the heating medium can be located either inside or outside the housing.
3. Vacuum Type: Cylindrical shell design with a pressure rating of 0.1 Mpa; the main inlet and outlet pipes for the heating medium are located inside the shell.
(4) Air Heater
Generally used under high evaporation conditions to enhance drying efficiency.
