The surface treatment of aluminum materials includes two main categories: uncoated natural finish products and coated products.
1. Unpainted Products: Hammered aluminum alloy plate (without irregular patterns), embossed board (formed by mechanical embossing to create regular patterns); pre-oxidized aluminum surface treatment panels. These products do not undergo painting on the sheet surface, have lower appearance requirements, and are priced more affordably.
2. Painted Products: Divided by coating process into: Spray Painted Sheets and Pre-Coated Rolled Sheets.
The paint types include polyester, polyurethane, polyamide, modified silicone, epoxy, fluorocarbon, etc., all designed to extend the resistance of paint to aging under the action of ultraviolet light from the sun. Among them, PVDF (fluorocarbon) paint stands out for its excellent anti-aging properties and is the most effective known organic synthetic material against UV radiation. Aluminum plates with fluorocarbon coatings are produced using different quality requirements, such as horizontal automated two-coat two-bake, three-coat three-bake, and four-coat four-bake roller coating processes. The pre-coated PVDF coatings contain 70%-80% resin, are roller-coated on high-speed continuous units after chemical pretreatment, priming, and finishing, with a front coating thickness of typically 25μm and a back coating for corrosion protection.
