A resistive silencer is an absorbing type of silencer, which is generally categorized into straight tube, plate, pleated, honeycomb, acoustic flow, labyrinth, and elbow types, based on the structure of the air flow channels. Positive silencers utilize the resistance caused by friction and viscosity as sound waves propagate through porous acoustic materials, converting sound energy into heat and dissipating it, thereby achieving the purpose of noise reduction and sound suppression. It is one of the most widely used types of silencers among all.
The resistance muffler operates on a different principle from the resistive muffler for noise reduction. It does not directly absorb sound energy but instead utilizes abrupt interfaces on the piping or adjacent vibration cavities. This causes certain frequencies of sound waves propagating along the pipeline to experience reflection and interference at the interfaces, thereby achieving the purpose of noise reduction and sound suppression.

Operating Principle: Based on the frequency-temperature characteristics obtained from actual testing of the sound sources at industrial fan operation sites, the required amount of sound absorption for the design of acoustic absorbers and fluid channels is determined within certain ranges. Additionally, block rectangular channels with large acoustic material surfaces have been adopted to enhance absorption effects. Furthermore, during the acoustic design of fans, there are not only one but multiple values for the sound pressure level, and the requirements for sound absorption vary for different languages. Therefore, the F series ventilation pipe silencers and induced draft fan silencers are both of impedance type, utilizing resistive structures for high and medium frequencies and resistive structures for medium and low frequencies to achieve sound absorption and noise reduction. In the resistive channels, both high and low frequencies are used in the sound absorption zone to maximize the broad frequency range of sound absorption, achieving excellent noise reduction effects. The series silencers for ventilation pipes and induced draft fans are suitable for all types of centrifugal fans, axial fans, row fans, and air compressors.

Product Features: Industrial fans for continuous operation. The standardized organization (ISO) sets the sound standards for such equipment at ≤90 decibels, which is consistent with our country's new standards. This serves as the basis for continuous noise compliance in industrial enterprises. However, without noise reduction measures, the sound emitted from the intake and exhaust of the fan can reach 110-120 decibels, far exceeding the compliance requirements. This series of silencers is of impedance type. Our factory determines the required noise reduction in specific frequency ranges based on actual test data of noise sources from various fans in power plants, which is the primary basis for designing the structure of the sound-absorbing panels and fluid channels. Additionally, we use narrow rectangular channels with a large surface area of sound-absorbing material to enhance the absorption effect. We know that the sound source of the fan has various frequency values at different sound levels, and the noise reduction requirements for different frequency bands are also different.
