Dampers for fans, exhaust pipes, and blowers all utilize positive吸降principles with good performance on mid to high bandwidth characteristics, as well as resistive sound attenuation principles that are effective on low and mid frequencies and pulsating characteristics, along with micro-perforated dampers and impedance composite dampers.
A resistive silencer is an absorbing type of silencer, which is generally categorized into straight tube, plate, corrugated, honeycomb, acoustic flow, labyrinth, and elbow designs, depending on the structure of the airflow channel. A positive silencer utilizes the propagation of sound waves through porous absorbent materials, where friction and viscous resistance convert sound energy into heat.
It dissipates heat energy, thereby achieving the purpose of noise reduction. It is one of the most widely used types of mufflers, the resistive mufflers. Unlike the resistive mufflers, which work on a different noise reduction principle, it does not directly absorb sound energy but utilizes the abrupt interfaces or resonant cavities attached to the pipes. This causes certain frequencies of sound waves propagating along the pipe to reflect and interfere at the interfaces, thereby achieving noise reduction. It is categorized into expansion chamber mufflers and resonant mufflers. In practical noise control projects, noise is often present as a wideband, so it is common to combine resistive sound absorption and resistive noise reduction structures to control intense wideband sounds.

Working Principle
Based on the frequency-temperature characteristics obtained from actual testing of the sound sources at industrial fan operation sites, determine the required level of sound absorption for the design of acoustic absorbers and fluid channels within certain ranges. Additionally, block rectangular channels with large acoustic material surfaces have been adopted to enhance the absorption effect. Furthermore, during the acoustic design of fans, there are not just one but several values for the sound pressure level, and the requirements for sound absorption vary for different languages. Therefore, the F series ventilation pipe silencers and induced draft fan silencers are both of impedance type, utilizing resistive structures for high and medium-frequency sound absorption and resistive structures for medium and low-frequency sound absorption and noise reduction. High and low-frequency resistive channels are also employed within the resistive channels to achieve maximum broad-spectrum sound absorption, resulting in excellent noise reduction. The series of ventilation pipe silencers and induced draft fan silencers are suitable for various centrifugal fans, axial fans, row fans, and air compressors.
Product Features
Fans are a type of general mechanical equipment with a wide range of applications, essential in industries such as electricity, mining, machinery, metallurgy, and chemical engineering. The noise generated during their operation often becomes a source of harm to workers' health and environmental disruption. Particularly, fans located near residential areas, with their intake and exhaust air dynamic noise emissions, are a major factor in environmental pollution, causing public nuisance. They have become one of the primary targets for noise pollution control efforts by China's industrial sector in recent years.
Industrial ventilation fans, equipment for continuous operation. The standardized organization (ISO) sets the noise standard for such equipment at ≤90 decibels, which is consistent with the new standard in our country. This serves as the basis for continuous noise compliance in industrial enterprises. However, without the adoption of noise reduction measures, the noise emitted from the intake and exhaust outlets of the fan can reach 110-120 decibels, significantly exceeding the compliance requirements.
The muffler series is of impedance type. Our factory determines the required noise reduction in various frequency ranges based on actual test data of noise sources at power plant fan operation sites, which serves as the primary basis for designing the absorptive panel structure and fluid channels. We also employ narrow rectangular channels with a large surface area of absorbent material to enhance the absorption effect. We understand that the sound sources of fans often have multiple frequency values at certain decibel levels, and the noise reduction requirements vary for different frequency bands. Therefore, this product utilizes resistive structures for high and medium-frequency noise reduction and resistive structures for medium and low-frequency noise reduction. Additionally, we incorporate both high-frequency and low-frequency noise reduction zones within the resistive channels to..broaden the noise reduction frequency band to the maximum extent, achieving excellent noise reduction performance. After installation according to specifications, the product's maximum sound level will not exceed 85-90 dB.
This description introduces silencers suitable for all types of centrifugal and axial-flow ventilators. In addition, our factory designs and produces silencers for various applications, including gas turbines, Roots blowers, air compressors, and diesel engine exhausts. Welcome to inquire and purchase.
