Flue Gas Desulfurization Chimney Silencer Product Overview: Product applications include: silencing for blowers, axial fans, centrifugal fans, Roots blowers, dedusting fans, 4-26 fan silencing, 9-26 fan silencing, fan noise-proof rooms, power plant induced draft fans, steel mill dedusting fans silencing, cement mill kiln head silencing, and various other blower silencing. Available in expansion chamber silencers and resonator silencers. In practical sound control engineering, where sound is predominantly宽带, it is common to combine resistive sound absorption and reactive sound attenuation structures to control high-intensity宽带 noise.
A resistive silencer is an absorptive type of silencer, generally categorized into straight tube, plate, wavy plate, honeycomb, acoustic flow, labyrinth, and elbow designs based on the structure of the air flow channel. A positive silencer utilizes the friction and viscous resistance of sound waves as they propagate through porous absorbent materials, converting sound energy into heat energy that is dissipated, thereby achieving the purpose of noise reduction. It is one of the most widely used types of silencers among all.
The Resistance-Suppressing Silencer operates on a different principle from the Absorptive Silencer in noise reduction. It does not directly absorb sound energy but instead utilizes the abrupt interfaces on the pipes or the auxiliary resonant cavities attached to them. This causes certain frequency sound waves propagating along the pipes to experience reflection and interference at the abrupt interfaces, thereby achieving the goal of noise suppression and reduction.

Operating Principle: Based on the frequency-temperature characteristics obtained from actual tests of industrial fan noise sources, the required sound absorption level for the design of acoustic absorbers and fluid channels is determined within certain ranges. Additionally, block rectangular channels with a large surface area of acoustic material are used to enhance absorption effects. Furthermore, during the noise design of fans, there are not only one but several critical frequencies, with varying noise reduction requirements for different frequencies. Therefore, the F series ventilation duct silencers and induced draft fan silencers are both of impedance type, utilizing resistive structures for high and medium frequencies and resistive structures for medium and low frequencies to achieve noise reduction. In the resistive channels, both high and low frequencies are used in the noise reduction zone to maximize the broad frequency noise reduction, resulting in excellent noise reduction performance. The series of ventilation duct silencers and induced draft fan silencers are suitable for all types of centrifugal fans, axial fans, row fans, and air compressors.

Product Features: Industrial fans, designed for continuous operation. The standardized organization (ISO) specifies a sound level standard of ≤90 decibels for such equipment. Our national standards are identical to this, serving as the basis for continuous noise compliance in industrial enterprises. However, without noise reduction measures, the sound emitted from the intake and exhaust of the fan can reach 110 to 120 decibels, significantly exceeding the compliance requirements. This series of silencers is of the impedance type. Our factory determines the required noise reduction in specific frequency ranges based on actual test data of noise sources from various fans in power plants, which is the primary basis for designing the acoustic absorption panel structure and fluid passages. Additionally, a narrow rectangular channel with a large acoustic absorption material surface is used to enhance the absorption effect. We know that the sound sources of fans often have various frequency values at different sound levels, and the noise reduction requirements for different frequency bands are not the same. Therefore, this product employs resistive silencers that are effective in reducing high and mid-frequency sounds.

Fans are a general type of mechanical equipment with a wide range of applications, including power, mining, machinery, metallurgy, and chemical industries, where their operation is indispensable. The noise generated during the fan's operation often becomes a source of harm to workers' health and environmental disruption. Particularly, fans located near residential areas, with their intake and exhaust air streams radiating aerodynamic noise, are a major factor contributing to environmental pollution and public nuisances. They have become one of the main targets for noise pollution control in China's industrial sector in recent years.
This muffler, as described in this specification, is suitable for all types of centrifugal and axial fans. In addition, our factory designs and produces mufflers for various applications, including gas turbines, Roots blowers, air compressors, and diesel engine exhausts.
