Roots Blower Muffler Product Overview:
Product suitable for: silencer for blowers, axial flow fan silencer, centrifugal fan silencer, Roots blower silencer, dust collector fan silencer, 4-26 blower silencer, 9-26 blower silencer, fan noise reduction room, power plant induction and exhaust fan, steel mill dust removal fan silencer, cement mill kiln head silencer, and various other blower silencers.
Duct silencers, exhaust pipe silencers, and blower silencers all utilize positive pressure drop principles with good performance for medium and high-frequency bandwidths, as well as resistive noise reduction principles that effectively handle low, medium frequencies, and pulsating characteristics, along with micro-perforated silencers and impedance composite silencers.
A resistive silencer is an absorbing type of silencer, which is generally categorized into straight tube, plate, folded plate, honeycomb, acoustic flow, labyrinth, and elbow types, depending on the structure of the air flow channel. Positive silencers utilize the propagation of sound waves through porous absorbent materials, where they encounter friction and viscosity resistance, converting sound energy into heat energy that is dissipated, thereby achieving the purpose of noise reduction and sound absorption. It is one of the most widely used types of silencers among all.
The resistance muffler operates differently from the resistive muffler in noise reduction principles. It does not directly absorb sound energy but instead utilizes abrupt interfaces on the pipeline or its adjacent resonant cavities. This causes certain frequencies of sound waves propagating along the pipeline to experience reflection and interference at the abrupt interfaces, thereby achieving the goal of noise reduction.
Expanding chamber mufflers and resonator mufflers are available. In practical sound control engineering, sound is often wideband, so it is common to combine resistive sound absorption and reactive sound attenuation structures to control intense wideband noise.

Working Principle:
Based on the frequency-temperature characteristics obtained from actual tests of the sound sources at industrial fan operation sites, the required amount of sound absorption for the design of acoustic absorbers and fluid passages is determined within certain ranges. Additionally, block rectangular channels with large surface areas of acoustic material have been adopted to enhance the absorption effect. Furthermore, when designing the soundproofing for fans, there are multiple criteria for the noise levels, and the requirements for sound absorption vary depending on the application. Therefore, the F series of ventilation duct silencers and induced draft fan silencers are of impedance type, utilizing resistive structures for high and medium frequencies for sound absorption and reactive structures for medium and low frequencies for noise reduction. High and low frequency resistive channels have been implemented within the resistive passages to achieve the maximum broad-spectrum sound absorption, ensuring effective noise reduction. The series of duct silencers and induced draft fan silencers are suitable for various centrifugal fans, crossflow fans, axial fans, and air compressors.

Product Features:
Fans are a type of general mechanical equipment with a wide range of applications, including power, mining, machinery, metallurgy, and chemical industries, where they are indispensable for production. The noise generated during the operation of fans often becomes a source of harm to workers' health and environmental interference. Particularly, fans located near residential areas, with their intake and exhaust air flow noise, are a major factor in environmental pollution, causing public hazards. They have been one of the main targets for noise pollution control efforts by China's industrial sector in recent years.
Industrial fans, designed for continuous operation. The standardized organization (ISO) specifies an acoustic standard of ≤90 decibels for such equipment. Our national standard is identical, serving as the basis for continuous noise compliance in industrial enterprises. However, without noise reduction measures, the sound emitted from the fan's intake and exhaust openings can reach 110-120 decibels, significantly exceeding the compliance requirements. This series of silencers is of the impedance acoustic flow type. Our factory determines the required noise reduction levels across various frequency ranges based on actual test data of noise sources from different types of fans in power plants, which is the primary basis for designing the acoustic absorption panel structure and fluid channels. Additionally, a narrow rectangular channel with a large acoustic material surface is used to enhance absorption. We know that the sound source of a fan often has multiple frequency values at a certain sound level, and the noise reduction requirements vary for different frequency bands. Therefore, this product employs a resistive structure for high and medium-frequency noise reduction and an anti-reflective structure for medium and low-frequency noise reduction. High and low-frequency noise reduction zones are also incorporated into the resistive channel to...broaden the noise reduction frequency band to the maximum extent, achieving excellent noise reduction. After installation according to specifications, the product's maximum sound level will not exceed 85-90 decibels.

This muffler, as described in this manual, is suitable for all types of centrifugal and axial-flow ventilators. In addition, our factory designs and produces mufflers for a variety of applications, including gas turbines, Roots blowers, air compressors, and diesel engine exhaust systems. We welcome inquiries and purchases from customers.
