2. Rollers are available in three types: smooth, rubber-coated, and cast rubber. For applications with low power and mild environmental temperatures, smooth rollers can be used. In humid environments with high power, where slippage is a concern, rubber-coated rollers are recommended. Cast rubber rollers offer better quality with thick, wear-resistant rubber layers; they are highly recommended. Rubber-coated rollers also provide similar performance, although they have a shorter lifespan. However, they are easily replaceable on-site, making maintenance convenient and cost-effective.
