UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

2. 3D software command tutorials, product modeling, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standard explanation, and applications of 3D auxiliary modules.

3. Mold structure explanation (mold types, tilting cores, sliding plates, cold heading, N times parting, etc.), demolding steps, product rational modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.

4. Provide CAD and UG drawings for mold components, and prepare a BOM for 0 piece order.

5. Comprehensive intensive training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with teachers organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Course:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Explanation 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding Partition

Section II: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module

1. Surface Milling: Familiarize yourself with the applications, cutting methods, and key parameter settings of surface milling.

2. Planer Milling: Know the application, classification, cutting methods for different workpieces, and the setting of main parameters, and master them.

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces. Learn to select the right tools reasonably when the workpiece sizes vary. Cavity milling generally employs a following-the-contour cutting method, with focus on setting and mastering the main parameters.

4. Re-clearing the corners with the cavity milling: Primarily for processing the excess material left after rough cutting with the upper tool; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. Level Contour Milling: Commonly used for precision finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting cutting tools, choose a reasonable tool based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Key parameter settings and mastery, example problem explanation, and topic-related practice.

6. Contour Milling: Commonly used for precision finishing of workpiece contours, usually selecting ball-end mills for contour milling. Main parameter settings and control, with example problems explained and combined with topic exercises.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

Section 3: Factory Examples:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples, practice, and mastery, understand the electrode processing process and fixture. Pay attention to the key points for processing special electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Molding Frame Processing: Proficient in molding frame processing techniques, experienced in handling oversized molding frames.

3. Mold Core Machining: Understanding common mold core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of stock allowance before heat treatment for mold cores, and precautions when machining the mating surfaces of front and back mold cores.

4. Full Mold Machining: Mastery of the precautions to be taken during full mold machining, integrating the common processing mold procedures of the factory and the processing department.

5. Product Processing: Attention to processing techniques and parameter settings.

The above learning content is typically completed in about three months of full-time instruction.
