UG CNC Programming Learning Content:

I. Basic Courses:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Instruction 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding Partition

Section 2: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module

1. Face Milling: Familiar with the applications, cutting methods, and key parameter settings for face milling

2. Planer Milling: Know the application, classification, cutting methods for different workpieces, main parameter settings, and mastery of planer milling

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces, learn to choose the right tool rationally when the workpiece sizes vary. Cavity milling typically uses a contouring cutting approach, focusing on the setup and mastery of key parameters.

4. Resurfacing with the mold milling cutter: Mainly focuses on the excess material left after roughing with the upper cutter; setting and mastering of the main parameters.

5. Constant Contour Milling: Often used for precise finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting tools, choose a reasonable one based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Setting and mastering the main parameters, example explanation, and combined with practical exercises on the topic.

6. Curved Surface Milling: Often used for the precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, typically using ball-end mills for curved surface milling. Main parameter settings and control, example explanation, and topic-related exercises.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

III. Factory Case Study:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples, practice, and mastery, understand the process and fixture of electrode processing. Pay attention to the key points for processing special electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Mold Frame Processing: Proficient in mold frame processing techniques, experienced in handling large-scale mold frames.

3. Molding Core Machining: Understanding common molding core materials, knowledge of die heat treatment processes, control of excess stock before heat treatment for molding cores, and precautions when machining the mating surfaces of the front and back cores.

4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions during the full mold machining process, integrating the common processing flow of the factory and the department's processing flow.

5. Product Processing: Craft considerations and parameter settings during product processing.

The above learning content can be completed in approximately three months of full-time instruction. Upon completing our course, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational processes and possess the experience equivalent to 2-3 years.
