Coil drums are containers used for electric wires and cables. Currently, cable coil manufacturers offer two types: large and small. Large coil drums have a diameter exceeding 1 meter, with some reaching over 5 meters, and are typically made of wood for large-scale transportation and logistics. Small cable coil drums have a diameter of only 30cm to 100cm, and are often made of ABS flame-retardant and high-temperature-resistant materials.
Cable drums are containers used for wire and cable. Most cable drums are made of steel or steel-wood structures, which are sturdy, durable, and offer excellent cable protection. Additionally, they are reusable, making them widely used in practice.
Power cables are typically transported, stored, and laid out coiled on drums. Short cables less than 30 meters can also be wrapped into loops with a radius not less than the cable's allowable bend radius, and securely tied for transportation.
