Coil drums are used for electrical wires and cables. Currently, coil drum manufacturers offer two types: large and small. Large drum sizes exceed 1 meter in diameter, with some reaching over 5 meters, typically used for wooden large-scale transportation and logistics drums. Small coil drums have a diameter of only 30cm to 100cm, with typical examples being ABS flame-retardant and high-temperature-resistant material coil drums.
Cable reels are predominantly made of steel or steel-wood structures. The steel construction is robust, resistant to damage, and provides excellent cable protection, making them reusable and widely used in practice.
Power cables are typically transported, stored, and laid on reels. Short cables less than 30m can also be coiled, ensuring the bend radius is not less than the cable's allowed, and securely tied before being moved.
