Coil drums are used for wire and cable, and currently, the coil drums produced by manufacturers come in two sizes: large and small. Large drum diameters exceed 1 meter, with some even reaching over 5 meters, typically used for wooden large-scale transport and logistics drums. Small cable coil drums have a diameter of only 30cm to 100cm, with typical examples being ABS flame-retardant and high-temperature-resistant material coil drums.
Reels for cables are commonly made of steel or steel-wood structures. The steel structure is robust and not prone to damage, offering excellent cable protection and being reusable, thus widely utilized in practice.
Power cables are typically transported, stored, and laid on cable drums. Short cables less than 30 meters can also be coiled into circles, ensuring they are securely tied, and then moved.
