Reels are containers used for electrical wires and cables. Currently, reels produced by manufacturers come in two sizes: large and small. Large reels have a diameter exceeding 1 meter, with some reaching over 5 meters; the typical representative is wooden large transport and logistics reels. Small cable reels have a diameter of only 30cm to 100cm, with the typical representative being reels made of ABS flame-retardant material and high-temperature-resistant material.
Cable drums are containers used for electric cables. They are commonly made of steel or steel-wood structures, which are sturdy, durable, and provide good cable protection. Additionally, they are reusable, making them widely adopted in practice.
Power cables are typically transported, stored, and laid out by winding them onto cable drums. Short cables of less than 30 meters can also be coiled up to a radius not less than the cable's allowed bend radius, securely tied, and then transported.
