Polycarbonate panels combine lighting, insulation, and soundproofing, offering sun protection and heat retention while allowing light transmission. They are suitable for greenhouses, furniture canopies, office soundproofing, outdoor advertising boxes, and more. Abroad, even large transparent lighting houses made entirely of polycarbonate, excluding the supporting structure, have emerged. Sunlight shining through them creates a sparkling, transparent, and inviting warmth.

Product Features
(1) Transparency: The PC sheet has a light transmission rate of up to 89%, comparable to glass. The UV-coated sheet will not fade, haze, or have poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the light transmission loss is only 10%, while PVC's loss rate is as high as 15%-20%, and glass fiber's is 12%-20%.
(2) Impact Resistance: The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of the same thickness of acrylic plates, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. It can withstand a two-meter fall without cracking using a hammer under 3kg, earning it the nicknames of "Unbreakable Glass" and "Resounding Steel."
(3) UV Protection: One side of the PC sheet is co-extruded with an anti-UV (UV) coating, while the other side is treated for anti-condensation. It combines UV protection, thermal insulation, and anti-fogging functionalities. It can block UV rays from passing through, and is suitable for protecting art and exhibits, ensuring they are not damaged by UV radiation.
(4) Lightweight: Half the density of glass, saving costs for transportation, handling, installation, and support frames.
(5) Flame Retardant: The National Standard GB8624-2006 confirms that PC Sunboard is classified as Flame Retardant B Grade. The PC board has a self-ignition temperature of 580°C, extinguishes itself after being removed from the flame, does not produce toxic gases during combustion, and does not promote the spread of fire.
(6) Bendability: Can be cold-bent on-site according to design drawings to form arches, semi-circular roofs, and windows. The bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the sheet, and can also be hot-bent.
(7) Sound Insulation: PC Sunboard exhibits superior sound insulation properties, offering better acoustical insulation than glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness.
