Polycarbonate panels combine采光, insulation, and soundproofing, offering sunshade and rain protection while also providing insulation and light transmission. They are suitable for greenhouses, furniture canopies, office soundproofing, outdoor advertising light boxes, and more. Abroad, even large transparent lighting houses made entirely of polycarbonate, without any supporting structure, have emerged. Upon sunlight, they are crystal clear and warm and inviting.

Product Features
(1) Transparency: The PC Sunboard has a light transmittance of up to 89%, comparable to glass. The UV coated panel will not turn yellow, fog up, or have poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the light transmittance loss is only 10%, while the PVC loss rate is as high as 15%-20%, and glass fiber is 12%-20%.
(2) Impact Resistance: The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of the same thickness acrylic plate, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. It can withstand a fall of two meters without cracking from a hammer weighing less than 3 kg, earning it the nicknames "unbreakable glass" and "resounding steel."
(3) UV Protection: The PC board is co-extruded with an anti-UV (UV) coating on one side and has anti-condensation treatment on the other, combining UV protection, heat insulation, and fog prevention in one. It blocks UV rays and is suitable for protecting artworks and exhibits, ensuring they are not damaged by UV radiation.
(4) Lightweight: Half the density of glass, saving costs on transportation, handling, installation, and support frames.
(5) Flame Retardant: The National Standard GB8624-2006 confirms that PC Sunboard is classified as Flame Retardant B Grade. The PC board has a self-ignition temperature of 580°C, extinguishes itself upon being removed from the fire source, does not produce toxic gases during combustion, and does not promote the spread of fire.
(6) Bendability: Can be cold-bent on-site according to design drawings to form arches, semi-circular roofs, and windows. The bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the sheet material, and can also be heat-bent.
(7) Sound Insulation: PC Sunboard offers superior sound insulation, outperforming glass and acrylic panels of the same thickness in terms of sound insulation.
