Product Features
(1) Transparency: The PC sheet has a light transmission rate of up to 89%, comparable to glass. The UV-coated sheet will not fade, haze, or have poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the light transmission loss is only 10%, while PVC loses up to 15%-20%, and glass fiber loses 12%-20%.
(2) Impact Resistance: The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic plates of the same thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. It can withstand a two-meter fall with a 3kg hammer without cracking, earning it the nicknames of "Unbreakable Glass" and "Sound Steel."
(3) UV Protection: The PC board features an anti-UV (UV) coating on one side and anti-condensation treatment on the other, combining UV protection, heat insulation, and fog prevention in one. It effectively blocks UV rays and is suitable for protecting art and exhibits, preventing them from being damaged by UV radiation.
(4) Lightweight: Half the weight of glass, saving costs for transportation, handling, installation, and support frames.
(5) Flame Retardant: According to the National Standard GB8624-2006, PC polycarbonate sheet is classified as flame retardant B-grade. The ignition temperature of PC board is 580°C, it will self-extinguish after being removed from the flame, and it will not produce toxic gases during combustion, nor will it promote the spread of fire.
(6) Bendability: Can be cold-bent on-site according to design drawings to form arches, semi-circular roofs, and windows. The bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the plate, and can also be heat-bent.
(7) Sound Insulation: PC Sunboard exhibits superior sound insulation compared to glass and acrylic panels of the same thickness.
