Product Features
(1) Transparency: The PC sheet has a light transmission rate of up to 89%, comparable to glass. The UV coated sheet will not turn yellow, haze, or have poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight. The light transmission loss after ten years is only 10%, while PVC has a loss rate of 15%-20%, and glass fiber is 12%-20%.
(2) Impact Resistance: The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic plates of the same thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. It can withstand a two-meter fall without cracking using a hammer weighing less than 3kg, and is famously known as "unbreakable glass" and "resounding steel."
(3) UV Protection: One side of the PC board is co-extruded with an anti-UV (UV) coating, while the other side features anti-condensation treatment. It combines anti-UV, heat insulation, and fog prevention capabilities. It can block UV rays and is suitable for protecting artworks and exhibits, preventing them from being damaged by UV radiation.
(4) Lightweight: Half the density of glass, saving costs for transportation, handling, installation, and support frames.
(5) Flame Retardant: According to the national standard GB8624-2006, PC Sunlight Boards are classified as flame retardant B grade. The auto-ignition temperature of PC boards is 580°C, they will self-extinguish after being removed from the flame, and will not produce toxic gases during combustion, nor promote the spread of fire.
(6) Bendability: Can be cold-bent on-site according to the design drawing to form arches, semi-circular roofs, and windows. The bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the sheet, and can also be hot-bent.
(7) Soundproofing: The PC sunshine board exhibits significant sound insulation, offering superior soundproofing properties compared to glass and acrylic sheets of the same thickness.
