Product Information
The Insplorion S2 utilizes a dual-channel flow cell for the study of unlabelled and in-situ molecular interactions and surface adsorption events. This system achieves true nanoscale measurements within a few nanometers of the surface/sample interface and effectively controls the flow of the sample and buffer solution.
Integrated and automated fluid processing
Automatic flow operation featuring a software command queue, 6-way injection valve, and continuous flow injection pump, with integrated buffer change and flushing operations.
Precise temperature control
Rapid and stable temperature control, ranging from 15°C to 45°C with fluctuations below 0.1°C.
User-friendly
Samples are conveyed through an integrated fluid handling system, featuring full user accessibility, ease of operation, and precise control. Automated operation is achieved through the Insplorion InControl software. The detachable single-handle flow cell comes with a separate sensor tray, facilitating daily use and maintenance.
Compatibility
Insplorion S2 is suitable for any biomaterial and can easily handle various types of biological samples: lipids, proteins, biomembranes, biominerals, hydrogels.
Although designed for handling biological samples, the Insplorion S2 is highly durable and can process many other materials and chemicals. For more information on sample chemical compatibility, please contact us.
Multi-functional
Due to its unmarked, real-time, and surface ling-sensitive characteristics, NPS technology boasts a wide range of applications.
The Insplorion S2 excels in showcasing the best features of NPS technology, using them in biological applications that require reducing sample processing and strict temperature control. Theoretically, it can measure phenomena altering the optical environment of surface sensors. This includes many processes, such as: molecular adsorption to different surfaces, formation and interaction of lipid bilayer membranes, temperature-dependent interactions, conformational changes, biomolecular recognition, biomineralization, biofilm formation, loading and unloading kinetics.
Application Fields
Insplorion S2 is suitable for any biomaterial and can easily handle different types of biological samples:
Fats
Protein
Biofilm
Bio-mineral
