Stamping parts are primarily formed by metal or non-metal sheet materials, shaped through the pressure of a press and the use of stamping dies. They have the following characteristics:
⑴ Stampings are produced with minimal material consumption through stamping processes, resulting in lightweight and high-stiffness parts. After plastic deformation of the sheet material, the internal structure of the metal is improved, enhancing the strength of the stampings.
⑵Stamping parts offer high dimensional accuracy, with uniform and consistent dimensions among the same mold pieces, and good interchangeability. They can meet general assembly and usage requirements without the need for further mechanical processing.
⑶ During the stamping process, the stamping parts maintain a good surface quality due to the unharmed surface of the material. They have a smooth and attractive appearance, which facilitates surface painting, electroplating, phosphatizing, and other surface treatments.
