Stretching molds, used for stretching purposes, are tools that mass-process materials (either metal or non-metal) into the required stampings. Depending on their assembly, stretching molds can be categorized into single-stroke deep drawing molds, compound molds, and progressive deep drawing molds. They can also be differentiated by the stamping press used, such as single-action press molds, double-action press molds, and triple-action press molds, with the main distinguishing factor being the type of flanging device (elastic flanging and rigid flanging). Stretching molds can further be divided into initial deep drawing molds and subsequent process deep drawing molds, with the primary difference lying in the structure and positioning of the flanging rings.
