The sprocket is fitted onto the outer edge of the flywheel after being heated, securing tightly upon cooling, to mesh with the starter gear, rotating the crankshaft, and starting the engine.
1) When starting the engine, the gear ring may be damaged due to impact between the starter gear and the flywheel teeth, or due to poor engagement of the teeth.
2) The starter's power connection was too early, causing the starter gear to collide with the flywheel tooth ring.
