
1. Strive to ensure the waterstop steel plate is in the centerline of the wall.
2. The welding between the two steel plates should be full and double-sided, with the overlap of the steel plates not less than 20mm.
3. Corner treatment for walls: 1. Whole steel plate bending; 2. T-shaped welding; 3. 7-shaped welding.
4. Support welding for waterstop steel plates can be done by spot welding small rebars onto the main rebars.
5. When the waterstop steel plate passes through the column stirrups, the stirrups can be cut to form an open stirrup, which is then welded onto the steel plate.
6. The "opening" of the waterstop steel plate faces the incoming water surface.
