Due to the presence of a large number of pathogenic microorganisms and fecal coliforms in wastewater, according to the relevant requirements of the "Institutional Wastewater Discharge Standard - GB18466-2005," wastewater from clinics, dental offices, and similar establishments must be treated before discharge. Small-scale wastewater treatment equipment utilizes physical methods to process wastewater, employing ozone oxidation for sterilization and disinfection. The sterilization mechanism involves the use of ozone's strong oxidizing properties to destroy and oxidize the cell membranes, cytoplasm, enzyme systems, and nucleic acids of microorganisms. When used as a disinfectant, ozone can rapidly kill a variety of pathogenic microorganisms and also has excellent de-colorization properties. Ozone generators produce ozone by electrolyzing air, which is then immediately infused into the wastewater. The recommended dosage should maintain a residual concentration of 0.1mg/L to 0.3mg/L in the water.
