Softening water equipment refers to devices used to reduce water hardness. It can remove calcium and magnesium ions from deep well water or water with high hardness, thereby reducing the content of calcium and magnesium ions in the water. This helps to minimize scaling in hot water equipment and pipelines, enhancing thermal efficiency and extending the lifespan of the equipment.

Softened water equipment is widely used in hot water boiler systems, heat exchange systems, industrial cooling systems, air conditioning systems, and other water-using equipment systems.

Customized solutions are available based on the required water treatment capacity provided by your company, ranging from 5T/H to 100T/H, for water hardness reduction. Consequently, with years of experience in water treatment system design and construction, our company offers an economical and rational design for the system, along with the necessary accessories, ensuring both the quality of the treated water and the engineering quality.

Raw water is pumped through a raw water booster pump to a multimedia filter for treatment. The multimedia filter is filled with manganese sand, quartz sand, and activated carbon filter media, which employs a multi-level deep filtration process to remove residual turbidity, suspended solids, colloidal organic matter, etc., from the raw water. After treatment by the multimedia filter, the effluent water quality meets the requirements for entering the softener. The effluent from the multimedia filter directly flows into the soft water unit, utilizing the characteristics of sodium ion exchange resins to remove hardness from the raw water, ensuring the effluent meets the water usage requirements. The soft water unit's effluent either flows into the soft water storage tank or to the point of use.

Water Softening Equipment Applications

1. Boiler Water: Includes high-pressure steam boilers and standard boilers. Our company's boiler water treatment equipment, please refer to the water usage (evaporation + pipeline loss) and raw water quality for selection.

2. Recirculating Cooling Water: Industrial cooling water recirculation systems and air conditioning heating and cooling systems. During the process of water vaporization and condensation, scale will form in the recirculation pipes, leading to pipe破裂 and frequent repairs. However, by softening the water, scaling will be prevented in the pipes.

3. Direct-Fired Engine Use: Like other types of heating equipment, water must undergo软化pretreatment to avoid excessive scaling, which unnecessarily increases energy consumption and maintenance costs.

4. Hotel and Restaurant Residential Water Supply: Water softening equipment can enhance the quality of domestic water supply.

5. Laundry and Dyeing: Large-scale laundry facilities using soft water for cleaning, which can significantly reduce the amount of detergent used. The washed clothes are soft, clean, and will not yellow. The same applies to dyeing.

6. Industrial Rinse Water: Rinse water primarily prevents scale buildup in nozzles and pipelines, and the rinsed equipment is usually non-conductive to ions. Therefore, it is required to soften the rinse water, and for higher standards, additional equipment like reverse osmosis is needed to meet water quality requirements.
