Product Overview
Due to production process requirements, a 15T/H fully automatic softened water system is needed, with an output hardness of ≤30mg/L. In response to customer requirements and considering the local water quality conditions, our company has designed a 15T/H automatic softening system.
Process Flow Description
The entire system operates fully automatically, with raw water being pumped to the system's 7 control valve, which governs the automatic softening water system. The raw water flows through a glass fiber reinforced plastic tank containing ion exchange resin, where the exchangeable ions Na+ in the resin undergo ion exchange with the cations (Ca2+, Mg2+) in the water. The water softener output hardness is ≤30mg/L. When the system reaches the set flow rate, the control valve automatically initiates regeneration.
The regeneration time for the automatic water softening system is approximately 2 hours. The regeneration process is automatically completed by the control valve through a programmed sequence, which primarily includes the following steps:
(1) Backwashing: Water flows downward through the control valve via the riser pipe, and upward through the bottom distributor to backwash the resin, loosening the resin bed and removing suspended solids accumulated on the surface of the resin layer.
② Monthly, brine and salt solution are diluted to a 10% concentration by the injector inside the control valve and then injected into the resin tank. The salt solution flows downward through the exhausted resin layer, restoring the original exchange capacity of the resin.
③ Exchange: After the regenerant enters, there is still some brine in the resin tank that does not participate in regeneration. To fully utilize this brine, plain water is used in its place.
④ Rinse: The purpose is to remove any residual regenerant waste from the resin layer, rinsing until the effluent meets quality standards.
⑤ Salt Brine Refilling: Inject water needed for salt dissolution and regeneration into the salt box, and then put it into operation after regeneration. The entire soft water system only requires regular processing of industrial salt, typically once per shift.
